MINORITY BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AGENCY JOINS U.S.-CHINA BUSINESS SUMMIT
The Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) provides access to the global economy for minority business enterprises (MBEs) and has prided itself on remarkable success over the last 40 years of promoting business growth for minority businesses. The agency assists minority business owners with consulting services, contract and financing opportunities, bonding, certifications, training, and building business-to-business alliances.
In 2009, the Chicago National Enterprise Center (CNEC) is making a special effort to provide support for MBEs in expanding their corporate strategy and international business development. The initial focus will be on China and expanding to other Asian Countries the following years.
The MBDA works with government agencies, trade development organizations and minority-owned businesses in order to guide MBEs on doing business in China. The MBDA establishes working relationships with Economic Development organizations of the Chinese government at various levels to provide continued support for future MBE business ventures in China or the U.S.
